We're very fortunate to have the facilities of the Sportspark at our disposal. This state-of-the-art sporting complex opened in 2000 courtesy of an enormous grant from the National Lottery and is located on the western outskirts of Norwich at the University of East Anglia.
Please click here to view a map.
To find the Sportspark, please take the B1108 (Watton Road) from the city centre and then turn into University Drive. Just before the Sportspark on the left hand side you'll find the Sportspark car park which offers free parking to Sportspark users during opening hours.
However - if you arrive after 4.30pm on weekdays or at weekends. then your best bet is to use the main UEA car park where you can park for free at these times, providing you validate your car park token in Reception at the Sportspark before leaving.
Please visit the Sportspark website to read all about the wide range of facilities available at the Sportspark.
Admission to the Sportspark costs 60p per person per visit. Regular visitors can make substantial savings with a Sportscard; please see the left hand panel of this page for full details or contact Reception at the Sportspark for further information.
Admission to the athletic track at the Sportspark is on a "Pay & Play" basis. All athletes must first obtain a track ticket from Reception and have it with them while using the track.
Please visit the Sportspark website for opening times and prices. There is no charge for track spectators (other than the normal Sportspark entry fee) but all spectators must remain in the seated area at all times and must not stray into other areas or onto the track itself.
Road running from the Sportspark is permitted at official CoNAC road running sessions which take place on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday evenings (start 6.30pm) and Sunday mornings (start 8.30am). At these sessions you must obtain a Sportspark road running band from the CoNAC officer who is leading the group.
At all other times, the Sportspark management has ruled that road running is prohibited from the Sportspark. For the avoidance of doubt, this ruling applies to both CoNAC-ers and non-CoNAC-ers and anyone found road running from the Sportspark other than as described above can expect sanctions to be applied to them.
