We're very fortunate to have the facilities of the Sportspark at our disposal. This state-of-the-art sporting complex is located at the University of East Anglia on the western outskirts of Norwich. Approach the Sportspark along the Watton Road (B1108) and then turn into University Drive. Just before the Sportspark on the left hand side you will find the Sportspark car park which offers free parking to Sportspark users during opening hours. If the Sportspark car park is full, you may use the main University car park (free after 4.30pm and at weekends, providing you validate your car park ticket in Reception at the Sportspark before leaving). Please visit the Sportspark website to read about the wide range of facilities available.
Admission to the Sportspark costs 50p per person per visit. Regular visitors to the Sportspark can make substantial savings by applying for a SportsCard. The cost of a SportsCard is £4.00 per month by direct debit, or £17.50 per academic year for those in full-time education, or £10 per calendar year for those under 16. Please contact Reception at the Sportspark for full details and a SportsCard application form.
Admission to the athletic track at the Sportspark is on a "Pay & Play" basis. All users must obtain a track band from Reception and wear it while using the track area. The cost of a track band varies, depending on the time of day and whether or not you hold a SportsCard – please visit the Sportspark website for opening times and prices.
You must obtain and wear a road running band each time you use the Sportspark as your base for a road run.
At scheduled CoNAC running sessions on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday evenings, road running bands are available from CoNAC officers free of charge. At all other times, CoNAC members may obtain a road running band (free of charge) by producing their current CoNAC membership cards at Reception.
If you do not obtain and wear a road running band you will liable for the non-CoNAC Sportspark road running charge of £2.
